Raleigh Portage on eBay - SOLD

(03/02/09) That was quick. I listed it on Saturday night, and got a Buy It Now hit this (Monday) morning.

I put my Portage up for sale on eBay. It may or may not sell, but I put a Reserve price of over$500.00 on it. I have given a couple of bikes away, basically, on eBay and I don't intend to let this one go for less than what it's worth.

If you hit the Buy It Now, and tell me that you saw it here, I will not only include the fenders but I will also refund you the $50.00 shipping.

I've read about this model on the Bike Forums but I've never seen one. I'm sure it will sell.

You should be able to sell it for sure. Judging by the Bridgestone I got from you, this one will be a beauty, and just about the cheapest 650b tourer you could possibly get. Well engineered bike too, set up for long hauls.

This is killing me. I am bumming. I do understand, but I don't have to like it!

I hope you get 2200!!

Well, if the bike was a 56, rather than a 54, you wouldn't be able to get it away from me. As is, it is at the small end of the fit spectrum.

It's pretty unique, and I hate to horde it just because it's cool, so I hope someone will buy it and put it to the use for which it was intended.

If it were a 58-60 it would have been sold already(to me!)That's if I had the 500 bucks for ANOTHER 650b bike.I really need some psychological help when it comes to purchasing bicycles,my barn is starting to look more like a store than a shop.
